Video post-production is at an inflection point. New tools are expanding what editors can do, but they also raise the bar for speed, clarity, and control.
Jumper was founded in Sweden in 2024 after a professional editor grew frustrated with how much time was wasted searching through footage for the right moments. Together with two engineers, he built the first working version of Jumper, released in November 2024.
Since then, Jumper has grown into a deeply integrated platform for editorial search and workflow, with support for Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and Avid, along with continual improvements in machine learning, face recognition, and AI agent integrations.
We don’t see AI as a replacement for editing or storytelling. We see it as a utility: something that should quietly remove friction, handle tedious work, and return time and attention to the people making creative decisions.
Our goal is simple: help editors jump to the best parts of editing.
