AI Visual Search Tools Comparison 2026

What is probably the first ever independent benchmark of AI visual search tools just dropped, and we're proud of the result.

Iain Anderson at ProVideo Coalition today published a head-to-head comparison of four AI visual search tools; Jumper, Premiere Pro, Peakto and Final Cut Pro. All tools were tested against the same curated dataset.

The benchmark covered 46 distinct searches across nouns, adjectives, verbs, locations, and shot types. Every result was scored from 0–2.

  • 2 points — found all the shots, mostly near the top of the search results.
  • 1 points — found some, but not all of the shots
  • 0 points — it failed to find any shots

Out of 92 possible points, Jumper scored 84 points (91.3% accuracy) and ranked first with a clear margin.

Independent comparisons like this are important to get a sense of the relative accuracy of the tools. While mileage may vary from usecase to usecase, it’s a good starting point. Accuracy and reliability are major factors in building trust and demonstrating the value of utility AI tools like these.
