What's New in Jumper - September 28, 2026
Jumper v2026.09.28 is now available for macOS on Intel and for Windows. The Apple silicon build shipped on September 25. On macOS, update through Auto-check for updates in the Jumper launcher. On Windows, download and run the latest installer.
Face analysis on its own
Face analysis can now run without first completing visual analysis.
Watch Folder scans are more efficient with large libraries and on network storage.
On Apple silicon and Windows, Summary Analysis offers many more output languages, and it shows any source intervals it could not summarize. Summary Analysis and face analysis of RAW footage use less memory and respond more quickly when you cancel. On Intel, face analysis of RAW footage uses less memory and cancels more quickly.
Timeline exchange
Converting XML, AAF, and OTIO timelines no longer misplaces clips and tracks, gets durations wrong, or mistimes edits around dissolve cut points.
Premiere Pro keeps stereo audio, sequence names, and frame rates when it imports a timeline an agent created or edited. DaVinci Resolve OTIO imports no longer show media as offline or use the wrong timeline frame rate. Avid is more reliable when linking managed MXF and separate audio channels, and when finishing an export.
On macOS, Final Cut Pro library metadata is updated again. Source ranges, connected-clip positions, and the audio or video selection are read correctly from FCPXML.
Improvements and fixes
- Apple silicon: fixed startup on macOS 27, and Summary Analysis on macOS 14 and 15.
- Windows: improved recovery from temporary NVIDIA GPU errors, with clearer guidance when a restart is required. Fixed Standalone startup failures, and added a browser fallback.
- Jumper supports .EXR files.
- Removed unwanted black borders in R3D previews. Thanks to Mr. Berns for reporting this.
