What's New in Jumper — March 08, 2026

Reveal in Finder/File Explorer, redesigned Settings, faster media table, Avid Scan MXF improvements, and reliability fixes across speech analysis, shared folders, and NLE integrations.

Jumper v2026.03.07 is now available for macOS (Apple silicon) and Windows.

Reveal in Finder / File Explorer

Reveal media files in Finder or File Explorer

You can now reveal media files directly in Finder (macOS) or File Explorer (Windows) from the media list. Right-click a file and choose the reveal option to jump straight to it on disk. This is handy when you need to locate source files, check folder structure, or move media around.

Avid: Save Scan MXF Metadata to a shared location

Save Scan MXF Metadata to a shared location

Avid users can now save Scan MXF Metadata results to a shared location so multiple machines can reuse them. No need to re-scan the same media on each workstation—scan once, use everywhere. If you have a large media library and many Avid workstations working on the same library, this will save both time and hassle.

Redesigned Settings view

Redesigned Settings view

The Settings view has been redesigned to make it easier to find and use the options you need most often.

Media table performance improvements

Media table interactions are much faster (in our testing it was ~88x faster), especially when working with large numbers of files (~100k files and up).

Speech and analysis improvements

If a speech download is missing, you now see this in Watch Folders as well. Speech analysis is more reliable with a wider range of audio files, and we’ve fixed cases where it could mishandle missing or silent files. Shared analysis folders work more reliably when multiple people use the same storage.
