What's New in Jumper - July 11, 2026

Search and filter footage by detailed metadata, set speech analysis on Watch Folders, and comment on tag collections with replies and marker colors.

Jumper v2026.07.11 is now available for macOS on Apple silicon and Windows. On macOS, update through Auto-check for updates in the Jumper launcher. On Windows, download and run the latest installer.

Search by the details in the file

You can now search and filter media with detailed metadata: dates, duration, location, codecs, resolution, aspect ratio, frame rate, bit rate, camera and lens information, and more.

The same filters work in visual search, speech search, and the Media table. A Watch Folder can use them when it decides what to analyze.

Watch Folder configurations also include speech-analysis settings now: audio channels, model accuracy, speaker detection, and the expected number of speakers.

Tag collection comments

Comments in tag collections have been redesigned. You can reply inline, see which comments are unread, and find comments and markers on search results. You can filter those results by marker color.

Previews keep the exact matching frame, prefer the best available image quality, and stay available when the original media is offline.

From the Media table, the right-click menu can remove an entire folder, or delete a file’s visual or speech analysis. The Help tab can export Jumper’s diagnostic logs as a ZIP file, which makes a support request easier to put together.

Improvements and fixes

  • Older NVIDIA GPUs on Windows fall back to CPU processing, with a clear warning, instead of failing. Thanks to Bobby Tutton for reporting this.
  • Fixed an issue loading downloaded local AI models while offline.
  • Fixed tag collection segments sometimes being treated as whole clips, which could also create duplicate entries.
  • Fixed stale visual-search entries that stayed active after an analysis-folder repair or after analysis was deleted.
  • macOS: improved detection of DaVinci Resolve and DaVinci Resolve Studio.
